Privacy for the things that matter.

1. About Mivaro

Mivaro is a privacy-first life-admin platform for organising reminders and documents, reviewing important dates, and staying ahead of renewals, expiries and recurring responsibilities. This policy applies to the current Mivaro service and app.

2. Account and authentication information

Mivaro supports authenticated accounts. Depending on your platform, you may sign in with Google or, on iOS, Sign in with Apple. Authentication is provided using Firebase Authentication and the selected sign-in provider.

Mivaro may receive account identifiers and basic profile information made available by the provider, such as your name and email address, subject to your provider settings. Saad Digital does not receive your Google or Apple password.

3. Reminders and preferences

You may add reminder titles, dates, repeat settings, notes, categories, optional costs and currencies, priorities, reminder history, and links between reminders and documents. Mivaro also stores preferences such as country or region, currency, time zone and Light, Dark or System appearance. This information is used to provide and personalise the features you choose.

4. Documents and local storage

You may import supported documents and images from Files, Photos or the camera. Document files are stored in app-managed local storage on your device. Mivaro does not use Firebase Storage to back up your document files, and Saad Digital does not receive unrestricted access to those locally stored originals.

Original files that remain in Files, iCloud Drive, Photos or another source are controlled separately by you and that service. Removing a Mivaro copy does not necessarily remove an original stored elsewhere.

5. On-device document reading

Mivaro can read and classify supported documents on-device and identify possible details and dates—such as passport dates or renewal and expiry information in insurance, lease or finance-type documents—for your review. Recognition may be incomplete or inaccurate, so you remain responsible for checking extracted information and reminder suggestions.

Mivaro does not use document contents, OCR results, passport information, insurance information, reminder titles, document titles or extracted dates to target advertising.

6. Account data and metadata sync

Where sync is enabled, Mivaro uses Firestore to sync account-owned Mivaro information and metadata across supported devices. This may include profile information, reminders, document records, classifications, extracted or reviewed date fields, preferences and subscription-entitlement state.

This metadata sync is distinct from document-file storage. Mivaro document files remain local-first and are not represented as being backed up through Firebase Storage.

7. Notifications

Mivaro may ask for notification permission to deliver reminders you schedule. Notification delivery depends on operating-system services, permissions, battery or power settings, device state, time-zone configuration and your choices. You can manage permission in device settings.

8. Camera, Photos and Files permissions

Mivaro requests access when needed for an action you choose, such as photographing or importing a document. These permissions do not mean Mivaro continuously accesses your camera or libraries. You can manage permissions in device settings, although disabling one may prevent the related feature from working.

9. Biometric and device security

If you enable a biometric or device-security option, authentication is performed through your device's operating system. Mivaro receives the result needed to allow or deny access; Saad Digital does not receive your fingerprint or facial biometric template.

10. Subscriptions

Mivaro offers Free and Premium access. Apple or Google processes app-store purchases and payment methods. RevenueCat helps Mivaro validate and manage subscription entitlements. Mivaro and these services may process product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase status, subscription status and related platform-generated information needed to provide Premium access, restore purchases, prevent fraud and resolve entitlement issues.

Saad Digital does not receive your full app-store card details. The applicable app store and subscription service handle their information under their own privacy terms.

11. Advertising and privacy choices

Advertising may appear in the Free experience through Google Mobile Ads. Verified Premium access suppresses Mivaro banner and interstitial advertising while the entitlement remains active.

Depending on the app version, platform, device settings, region and consent choices, Google and advertising partners may process device or advertising identifiers where available, IP-derived approximate location, ad and app interactions, and diagnostic information to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. Advertising is not necessarily personalised. Consent and privacy controls may vary by region and are presented where required.

Saad Digital does not sell or provide Mivaro document files, document contents, OCR results, reminder content or extracted personal dates to advertisers for ad targeting. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy and Google's advertising information.

12. Sharing and third-party apps

When you intentionally choose Share, Open In or a similar device action, the selected file or information is passed to the app or service you choose. That recipient handles the information under its own privacy practices. Review the destination before sharing sensitive material.

13. Support communications

If you contact Saad Digital, we receive your email address, message and any screenshots or attachments you voluntarily provide. This information is used to understand and respond to your request. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details or identity documents unless genuinely necessary.

14. Retention and deletion

Local data remains on a device until you delete it through Mivaro, complete the app's account-deletion process, clear app storage or uninstall the app, subject to device and operating-system behaviour. Synced account data and metadata remain while your account is active or as reasonably needed to provide the service.

You can initiate account deletion in Mivaro under Settings → Account → Delete account. If you no longer have access to the app, follow the instructions on the Mivaro account-deletion page. Deletion is intended to remove Mivaro-controlled account data, reminders, document records, synced metadata and account-owned information. The in-app process can also remove Mivaro-managed local account data and files.

Account deletion does not delete your Apple or Google account, original files in Files, iCloud Drive or Photos, or app-store purchase history. It does not necessarily cancel an active subscription. Some records may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, transaction or support requirements.

15. Security

Mivaro is designed with privacy-first, local-first principles and uses device and service controls appropriate to its current architecture. You should protect access to your device and keep independent copies of important original documents. No app, device, storage method or network service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

16. International users

Mivaro is intended for users in multiple countries and regions. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Available privacy, consent and advertising controls may vary by platform and region.

17. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Mivaro's features, service providers or information-handling practices change. The date at the top shows the latest material update.
