Mivaro Privacy Policy
Privacy for your life admin.
This policy explains how Mivaro handles information, files, device permissions, subscription status, and support messages. Mivaro is designed as a local-first life-admin app and currently has no Saad Digital user accounts, cloud sync, advertising, or AI processing.
1. About Mivaro
Mivaro helps you organise reminders, dates, recurring reminders, notes, categories, optional costs, priorities, documents, and personal app preferences. Saad Digital operates Mivaro.
2. Information you add to Mivaro
You may add reminder titles, due and reminder dates, recurrence settings, notes, categories, optional costs and currencies, priorities, reminder history, links between reminders and documents, and document metadata. This information is used by the app to provide the organisation features you choose.
3. Documents and files
You may choose image or PDF documents from your device for use in Mivaro. The current app stores those originals in app-managed local storage on your device. Saad Digital does not operate remote document storage for the current version of Mivaro.
4. Local storage
Current Mivaro data is primarily saved locally on your device. It is not synced to a Saad Digital account or cloud service. Uninstalling Mivaro, clearing its app storage, resetting or losing the device, or losing access to a locally stored file may result in permanent data loss where no independent backup exists.
5. Notifications
Mivaro may ask for notification permission so it can deliver reminders you schedule. Current reminders are scheduled locally through your device's operating system. Delivery can depend on permission, operating-system behaviour, battery settings, device state, and your reminder configuration. You can change notification permission in device settings.
6. Camera, photos, and files
Mivaro requests access to the camera, photos, or files only when needed for a document action you choose, such as adding an image or PDF. These permissions do not mean that Mivaro continuously or silently accesses your camera or media library. You can manage permissions in device settings, although disabling one may prevent the related feature from working.
7. Region and preferences
Mivaro may store your chosen name or profile preference, country or region, currency, time zone, and appearance settings locally. These choices personalise dates, currency display, notifications, and the app's appearance.
8. Information Saad Digital receives
Saad Digital does not receive your locally stored reminder content or documents through Mivaro's current local-first features. If you contact support by email, Saad Digital receives your email address, message, and any screenshots or attachments you voluntarily provide. That information is used to respond to and manage your request.
9. Platform services and subscriptions
Your app store, device manufacturer, and operating-system provider may independently process information needed to download, install, secure, update, or operate Mivaro. Their own privacy policies and settings apply. The current Mivaro product does not include a Saad Digital advertising or analytics provider.
When you purchase or restore a Mivaro subscription, Apple or Google processes the store transaction and payment method under its own terms. Mivaro may receive or check platform-generated product, transaction, purchase-status, and subscription-entitlement information needed to provide Premium access, restore a purchase, prevent fraud, and help resolve billing or entitlement issues. Saad Digital does not receive your full app-store card details.
10. Sharing or opening documents
When you intentionally choose Share, Open In, or a similar device action, the selected file or information is passed to the app or service you choose. That recipient handles the information under its own privacy practices. Review the destination before sharing sensitive material.
11. Retention and deletion
Local Mivaro data remains on your device until you delete an item in the app, clear Mivaro's local data through available app or device controls, or uninstall the app. You can delete reminders and documents in Mivaro. Removing a document from Mivaro removes the app-managed copy; it does not necessarily remove an original that still exists elsewhere on your device.
Support emails and voluntarily supplied attachments may be kept only as reasonably necessary to provide support, maintain appropriate records, or address legal and security requirements, and may then be deleted when no longer needed.
12. Security
Mivaro uses app-managed device storage and operating-system controls for its local data. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and retaining independent copies of important documents. No storage method or device can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
13. International users
Mivaro is intended for users in multiple countries and regions. If you contact Saad Digital, your communication may be handled from South Africa and through the email provider's infrastructure in other countries. Applicable rights may differ depending on where you live.
14. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Mivaro's features, billing implementation, third-party services, or information-handling practices change. Material new features such as accounts, cloud sync, advertising, or AI processing would require updated disclosures before launch. The date at the top shows the latest material update.
